Camp Boggy Creek Weekend 2008

We were allowed to go back to Camp Boggy Creek for the Heart Heroes Weekend this year! We had a great time and met a bunch of new friends that we will never forget! Check out the pictures and click on the image to get a full resolution picture.

The first night we met our Pals for the weekend and had a really neat time at the campfire. Natatie and I had a front row seat!

Woodshop is one of my favorite things to do at CBC. My Pal Rob helped me make a cool sign for my kitchen at home.

Dinner time is always a ‘hopping’ good time at CBC. Spencer made friends really fast with our Pal Natalie.

Spencer loved hanging out with Kate and Natalie. They took him fishing and out on the lake in a boat. Kate came all the way from Cincinnati to spend the weekend at CBC. I guess when it’s a good as it is here, people from all over want to come and have fun!

Our Pal Zach was in charge of the boats and the fishing dock. He made sure that Alec, Rob and I got back in one piece!

Zach also showed me the ropes on the fishing dock! He sure knows his stuff!

Archery is really fun! Those hay bales will never be the same! I didn’t miss once!

Zach also knows how to hoop it up! He took Tyler and Alec to school playing around the world! Just look at the concentration!

It was a pirate and princess weekend at CBC. Our Pals made sure I had all the right gear! Arrr!

I even found a lovely princess! Isn’t she CUTE!?!

We had a blast at the dance on Saturday.

Spencer kept Natalie moving all night at the dance. I bet she was ready for a long rest back at Gainesville when the weekend was over!

Chuck was there too! He was out Pal at the Heart Hero Weekend a couple of years ago. He had another family this year but we still got to talk to him. He use to fly planes when he was in the Air Force! How cool is that?

The band was in rare form for the talent show! “I Love Rock-n-Roll, put another dime in the juke box baby!”

What a great weekend! Here we are with all or our Pals. I was sad for it to end but now we have four new family members that we will never forget! WE LOVE BOGGY CREEK!
